Good Grief!! There's way too much to do and not enough time to do it all. I don't think I get paid enough for all of this. Let's back up to the weekend. We went to get Man's new pickup on Saturday. He was nice enough to let me know about this on Friday night. It's a 3 hour drive to where he bought it. He bought it from his son that works at a Ford dealership. His son is the one that his ex-wife gave birth to...you know...the ex-wife that hates me with every blood vessel in her body. So, I was just a little nervous. It all ended up being OK. The son was polite, I was polite and the daughter-in-law totally trashed the ex-wife when we went to eat lunch. She is now my favorite. You see, the ex-wife thinks that the world is supposed to take care of her and that she should have no responsibility at all. Wonder what that would be like? Anyway, it all ended pretty well. We got there, got back and didn't run in to any bitches along the way...WooHoo!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch......

Sunday night I was texting my daughter about helping me get a pickup that I had sold to my boss over the phone ON SATURDAY MORNING (this will be important later in the story). Suddenly, my phone rang instead of giving a message alert. It was my sweet baby girl. She asked if my son had told me what happened on Saturday. No....what happened? Apparently, boy, girl and girl's friend were riding down through the pasture and hit a huge hole. Boy was driving and knew that we had just called them and told them that I SOLD THE PICKUP. He freaked out and was afraid to tell us. I GUESS HE THOUGHT WE WOULDN'T NOTICE THE HOLE IN THE WINDSHIELD WHERE GIRL'S HEAD HIT!!!! Surprisingly, her head was fine. Her knee, however, was fucked up. I took her to the doctor on Monday for Xrays. It's not broken, just severely bruised. Thank goodness....she's leaving on the 12th to go on a cruise. I didn't get on to Boy too bad. He was terrified and worried sick about his sister (this is a new thing for my kids....apparently, as you get older, you start to actually give a shit about your siblings).

The pickup is on it's way to get a new windshield and I have to get back to work. Tonight, I'll continue getting ready for the yard sale....Yippee!!
